The Smart Dimmer 6 is an intelligent socket, which you can switch by remote, wall switch, smartphone or automation. Thanks to Z-Wave the Smart Dimmer 6 offers you much more than a conventional socket. The Smart Dimmer 6 is equipped with a premium energy monitoring, that provides the Z-Wave controller with real-time consumption data of the associated device. All data can be stored and redisplayed afterwards as progression charts. In addition, the coloured LED ring of the Smart Dimmer 6 displays the power requirements of the device in a visual way. The LED ring can be configured as follows:
The Smart Dimmer 6 can be placed between every normal wall socket and any electrical device with a load up to 3500W. To switch the connected device it is enough to press the action button or you can use your Z-Wave controller to send commands to your Smart Dimmer. The current status is indicated by the LED.
The device can be can be controlled either by pressing the action button or sending commands from the Z-Wave Controller. A single press on the button switches between active and inactive.
The Smart Energy Switch monitors the current power and energy consumption in kWh and can send this information to your Z-Wave Controller. How or if the data is displayed depends on your Z-Wave Controller. For more information please look up the Controller"s manual.
Reset to factory default | 1. Make sure the Smart Dimmer has been connected to the power supply. 2. Press and hold the Z-wave button for 20 seconds. 3. If holding time more than one second, the LED will blink faster and faster.
