Quickstart

This is a secure Siren for XXXQFrequencyName. To run this device please connect it to your mains power supply. 1. Have Z-Wave Controller entered inclusion mode.
2. Pressing tamper key three times within 1.5 seconds to enter the inclusion mode.
3. After add successful, the LED will light ON 1 second

Product Description

Siren MT02758 is a wireless siren, based on Z-Wave technology. It is the Z-Wave plus product, it support the security, OTA... Those newest features of the Z-Wave technology.

Installation

Use the Home Control alarm siren only indoors. Ceiling or wall mounting is possible.

The alarm function is switched off when the Home Control alarm siren is delivered. Once the device is added to the home control network, a disassembly alarm is automatically activated, which would be triggered for 3 minutes if the siren is removed from the housing mount. Mute the alarm in the web interface of the Home Control Portal before removing the alarm siren from the mounting plate.

The device generates a loud and shrill alarm sound that can damage the hearing. Maintain a minimum distance of about 50 cm.

1. Select a wall outlet, taking into account the above factors.
2. Disconnect the unit from the housing bracket by pushing it downwards.

When wall mounting, use screws to ensure that no gas, water or power lines in the wall are damaged. Risk of electric shock!

3. Drill holes at the desired location (max. 2 m away from the wall outlet) according to the drilling instructions.
4. Place the supplied USB cable (USB symbol of the Micro-USB connector facing forward) behind the housing bracket in the guide provided for the cable.

 

5. Fasten the housing holder in the correct mounting position using the screws provided.
6. Insert the Micro-USB plug into the internal socket on the back of the device.
7. Slide the Home Control alarm siren from top to bottom onto the wall mounted housing bracket.
8. Plug the USB plug of the cable into the AC adapter, but do not plug the AC adapter into the AC outlet.

Product Usage

Change Battery

The device use a Battery from type BL-5V 5V, 1200mA
Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting the batteries. Incorrect use of the batteries can damage the device!


As soon as the device is added to the Home Control network, a disassembly alarm is automatically activated, which triggers for 3 minutes when the siren is removed from the housing mount. Mute the alarm in the web interface of the Home Control Portal before removing the alarm siren from the mounting plate.

1. Remove the connected USB cable from the alarm siren.
2. Push the alarm siren upwards to remove it from the case mount.
3. Remove the front cover of the alarm siren by pushing the clips down.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Insert the new rechargeable battery into the device in the correct position (see marking in the battery compartment).
6. Replace the alarm siren cover.
7. Connect the USB plug of the power supply unit to the alarm siren.
8. Slide the Home Control alarm siren from top to bottom onto the wall mounted housing bracket.


Manual deactivation of the alarm siren

If the alarm siren is disconnected from the power supply, the unit automatically switches to battery operation. If you want to shut down the system completely, follow the steps below:
1. Press and hold the button on the back of the alarm siren.
2. Press the disassembly button 3 times within 1.5 seconds.
3. Release the button on the back of the alarm siren.
4. The switch-off was successful when the LED flashes three times.

The alarm siren does not work after the manual switch-off. The alarm siren is not ready for operation until the device is reconnected to the circuit via the power supply unit.

Reset to factory default 1. Pressing tamper key four times within 1.5 seconds and do not release the tamper key in the 4 pressed, and the LED will light ON.
2. After 3 seconds the LED will turn OFF, after that within 2 seconds, release the tamper key. If successful, the LED will light ON one second. Otherwise, the LED will flash once.
3. IDs are excluded and all settings will reset to factory default.

The Home Control alarm siren supports the Z-Wave® firmware update via OTA. When the firmware download is complete, the LED starts flashing every 0.5 seconds.
Do not disconnect the alarm siren from power during the update, the firmware may become defective and damage the device.
When the LED stops flashing, it is recommended to restart the unit (see below: manual switching off of the alarm siren). Caution: After switching off the unit, wait approx. 30 seconds until you reconnect the power supply unit.
