Z-Wave is the international wireless protocol for communication in the Smart Home. This device is suited for use in the region mentioned in the Quickstart section.
Z-Wave ensures a reliable communication by reconfirming every message (two-way communication) and every mains powered node can act as a repeater for other nodes (meshed network) in case the receiver is not in direct wireless range of the transmitter.
This device and every other certified Z-Wave device can be used together with any other certified Z-Wave device regardless of brand and origin as long as both are suited for the same frequency range.
If a device supports secure communication it will communicate with other devices secure as long as this device provides the same or a higher level of security. Otherwise it will automatically turn into a lower level of security to maintain backward compatibility.

Welcome to the world of modern design, great features and energy-saving technology This Smart Heater will warm (not only) your heart. It"s a great addition to the TESLA smart ecosystem that turns any space into a hub of fully automated, smart technology.
Anti-tipping protection.
In the event of accidental tipping over, the heater switches off automatically.
Over-heating protection.
Automatic shutdown of the unit when too high a temperature is detected on the heating element prevents damage to the heater.
Lighting.
The aesthetics of the device are enhanced by subtle lighting.
Rotation.
The heater can be rotated at an angle of 60° to ensure proper circulation of warm air throughout the room.
You will love it.
Allow me to introduce it. It is slim and very attractive. It will reliably keep you warm and when you ask it to, it will light up in colour for you. That’s the TESLA Smart Heater HTR300. With the help of a high-speed motor that provides 2 heating levels along with a ventilation mode, the TESLA Smart Heater can heat your room to the desired temperature and maintain it automatically without any further intervention thanks to the modern PTC heating method, which is efficient, economical and safe.
It heats, it blows, it shines.
Press the MODE button to switch between the three available modes. These are; Fan, Low heating and High heating. The Timer button then sets the length of time for the heater to run from one to twelve hours. Press the Light button to activate the lighting that lines the air outlet from the inside. Press the Light button repeatedly to select between blue, green, purple and white lighting. And finally, the Swing button, which activates the 60° rotation of the top of the heater.
Smart ecosystem.
Save energy and only heat the places where you spend the most time.
Safety first.
The TESLA Smart Heater HTR300 has a number of safety features that immediately deactivate the device in the event of a problem. These include protection against accidental tipping over of the heater and protection against overheating of the heating element.
TESLA Smart app.
Of course, you don’t have to control the heater using the physical control panel on the instrument itself. All functions, controls and options for automation and integration into the smart ecosystem are offered by the TESLA Smart app, which works in English. The instrument can also be controlled by smart assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Features:
Please read the user manual before installing the product.
In order to include (add) a Z-Wave device to a network it must be in factory default state. Please make sure to reset the device into factory default. You can do this by performing an Exclusion operation as described below in the manual. Every Z-Wave controller is able to perform this operation however it is recommended to use the primary controller of the previous network to make sure the very device is excluded properly from this network.
ATTENTION: only authorized technicians under consideration of the country-specific installation guidelines/norms may do works with mains power. Prior to the assembly of the product, the voltage network has to be switched off and ensured against re-switching.
On factory default the device does not belong to any Z-Wave network. The device needs to be added to an existing wireless network to communicate with the devices of this network. This process is called Inclusion.
Devices can also be removed from a network. This process is called Exclusion. Both processes are initiated by the primary controller of the Z-Wave network. This controller is turned into exclusion respective inclusion mode. Inclusion and Exclusion is then performed doing a special manual action right on the device.
Here are a few hints for network installation if things dont work as expected.
